Privacy policy

What we collect

Only what you type into the free checklist form:

• your email address,
• the California region you pick,
• your two choices: whether you want checklist updates, and whether you want a local helper to contact you,
• the date and time you sent the form, and which version of the consent wording you saw.

We don't use ad trackers or analytics scripts. If you pick a region on the site, it is remembered in your own browser (localStorage) only, and is not sent to us unless you submit the form.

Why we collect it

• To send you the checklist and occasional updates when California POA rules change (for example, the new 2027 statutory form). Every update email lets you unsubscribe.
• To understand which regions readers come from, so we know where to focus.
• Only if you tick the second box: to connect you with one local helper in your region (see below).

When we share your information

We share your email and region only if you tick the box “Yes, have a local POA helper in my region contact me.” Then we send them to one business: the single sponsor (“Your closest helper”) for the region you chose. Nobody else gets them. If your region doesn't have a sponsor yet, we hold your request until one joins, and you can ask us to delete it anytime.

The sponsor pays for its spot on the site, not per contact. We never sell your information, and we don't share it for any other reason except to follow the law. Our web host (Cloudflare) stores the form data for us as a service provider.

Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information

We don't sell personal information. The only sharing is the helper referral above, and it happens only when you ask for it. To stop it, or to take back a request you made, email clientservices@poapilot.com with the subject “Do Not Share.” We'll stop sharing your information from then on.

Your rights if you live in California

You can ask us to:

• Know what personal information we have about you and who we shared it with,
• Delete your personal information,
• Correct it if it's wrong,
• Opt out of any sharing.

Email clientservices@poapilot.com from the address you signed up with, and tell us what you want. We won't treat you differently for asking. You can unsubscribe from updates at any time by replying “unsubscribe.”

How long we keep it

We keep your email until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete it. Helper requests are kept only as long as needed to make the referral.
